Scimitar-Horned Unicorn Skull

Whether it's a trophy from a once-in-a-lifetime hunt or the remains of a meal found in a dragon's cave, this diminutive skull of the Scimitar-Horned Unicorn (Cerahippus harpe) makes for an incredible addition to any bone collection or intrepid adventurer's mantle.

Though it's sculpted from a 3D scan of a real horse skull and a couple of different antelope horns, this specimen has been sized down significantly; please see the product photos for examples of the unicorn skull next to a real sheep skull, and held in a hand. The shape of the original horse skull has been modified to more closely resemble the cranium of Calippus regulus, a small horse ancestor from the Lower Pliocene, and it's also similarly sized, much smaller than today's horses.

The painted version has a painted and sealed horn with a black base and metallic gold dry-brushed on the high points. (Prefer a different color or combination? Send a message and I'll let you know if I can make it happen!)

The unpainted and unassembled version comes in basic ivory white and ships in two separate parts, so you can paint the horn yourself if you'd like. The horn is hollow and fits over a short horn core just like on a real horned animal skull, and can easily be secured with hot glue.
