The perfect addition to your cabinet of curiosities, assemblage of oddities, or natural history collection, this skull of a Wrinkle-Faced Bat (Centurio senex) is larger than life. Literally.

It's been greatly enlarged for display and for study, and individually 3D printed in durable resin. The resulting specimen is sharply detailed, faithfully reproduced, and a beautiful art object on its own.

This perfectly unusual piece will add a little mystery to any bone collection, and makes a great gift for anyone interested in Vulture Culture, bats, anatomy, or general spookiness.

This bat skull is slightly smaller than the other enlarged bat skulls I have available, simply because it's a very tall and wide skull; please be aware that if you're purchasing several, this one will be sized a bit differently. It's as large as I'm able to produce it with my current equipment. Part of the reason its skull is shaped this way might be for strength... the Wrinkle-Faced Bat has a bite force about 20% stronger than other bats of its size!

SCIENTIFIC ACCURACY
These unsettlingly large skulls look incredible in any bone collector's hoard, but they're also valuable scientific learning tools, allowing anatomical study and up-close examination of what would normally be a very small, very delicate, and fairly rare skull to find in a typical bone collection.

Each bat skull is reproduced from a detailed 3D scan of a real bone specimen, and so is anatomically accurate, right down to the delicate structures in the nose and the anatomy in the skull's interior! But because the original skulls are extremely small and fragile, these reproductions may replicate areas where the originals were broken or missing parts. You'll normally be able to spot these areas easily, as the same structure on the other side will be intact. Please be aware that the model may not be 100% complete for scientific purposes.

From start to finish Mac was tremendously helpful. I saw an item on one of their post that I couldn’t find on their site and they told me it was no issue to print one. I got quite a haul of skulls for a party I’m hosting this halloween and was very impressed with the quality of everything. There was a little hiccup with shipping but Mac went above and beyond to remedy the situation and even threw in a couple bonus skulls. I’d happily purchase here again and would encourage you to give the a try too!
